High-pressure and weak gradients continued over Florida.The sounding indicates a moderately unstable day. Moderate southeasterly flow in the low levels became light and variable above 500 mb and then strengthened from the northeast above 300 mb, rotating counterclockwise to the northwest above 200 mb.
Convection formed along the east coast sea breeze with storms west of Melbourne at 1830Z remaining south of Cape Canaveral. Debris moved to the south-southeast. Not much anvil was evident.
