Weak high-pressure continued over Florida with a cold front over Alabama and Georgia.
The sounding indicates relatively moist conditions below 15000 ft. with dry air aloft. Wind shear was weaker than on previous days with a small increase in speed near 300 mb.


Storms remained to the south of the Cape. At 17Z the west coast sea breeze (WCSB) became active southwest of Lake Okeechobee. ECSB storms became active by 19Z between Lake Okeechobee and the east coast. As the WCSB pushed east, the ECSB storms moved back toward the east. A major cell was produced northeast of the lake at 19Z.
