Weak high-pressure continued over the Florida peninsula south of a weak frontal boundary over Georgia and Alabama.
The sounding indicates a moderately moist day with weak instability. Directional and speed shears were also weak except for a speed shear layer at about 300 mb.


No satellite loop was available in the archive for this day to provide information on the timing or motion of convection. By 21Z isolated convective complexes had formed inland along the east coast seabreeze with anvils blowing back toward the east. There were also storms over the water east and south of Cape Canaveral.
